...Leaps and Bounds Childminding, run by a qualified Ofsted and Environmental Health approved Childminder. I aim to provide a friendly Childminding facility in a home-based environment in which children can thrive and develop into happy and confident young people. Children are accepted from ages 3 months plus. Opening times are from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Occasional evening or weekend childcare may be available by prior arrangement.

Confidentiality My aim is to work in partnership with parents in the care of their child. It is important to me that parents feel they can come and chat about any concerns or their child’s progress in general. Queries will be dealt with in the strictest confidence. I welcome your feedback and am always open to suggestions. I have set up a ‘C.C.C.’ book (compliments, comments, and complaints) which is kept handy by the front door, where I am happy for parents to record their views about Leaps and Bounds.
Complaints Handling If a complaint were to be made about my Childminding service or about another child or parent, I would make a record of it on a Complaints Record Form. For confidential reasons the person making the complaint could not be named on the form or indeed any other adults or children that relate to that complaint. The complaint record must be shared with any parent who asks to see it, as well as with Ofsted if requested and on inspection.
The NCMA (National Childminding Association) provide a freephone information line which is available to parents as well as NCMA members.
